Ellie's Cookie Party

Last Sunday, Ellie had a Cookie Party with all of her friends. They had a blast and were so cute playing and decorating cookies and making ornaments.

We forgot to take a group picture until most of the girls had left.

Breakfast with Santa

Santa came to Germantown last weekend to our neighborhood. Ellie was super excited and has always loved him. We werent sure how Jack would be, but as you can see from the picture below-it didnt go well!

He came in on a fire truck!

I love how Ellie is looking at Jack, wondering what his problem is.
Ellie collecting her gifts for her and Jack. Santa gave Ellie the Sleeping Beauty DVD, which she has been wanting and Jack The Fox and the Hound.

Later that afternoon I caught Jack with "nice hands" checking out the tree. He has been so cute with it. He is really gentle as he looks at ornaments and loves looking at his books sitting next to it. I think both the kids will be sad when it is time to take it down.

Opryland

The day after Thanksgiving we took the kids to the Opryland Hotel in Nashville. I have wanted to go at Christmas time for many years and it was so fun. Ellie and I went to see the Rockettes and she loved it. The hotel is so amazing and decorated to the hilt for the Holidays. We took a riverboat ride through the hotel in the picture above, rode a holiday train, saw The Grinch on ICE and ate lots of good food!

Ellie on our way back to the hotel. She picked out this hat at the Grand Ole Opry gift shop during intermission at the Rockettes. Ellie had the best time. She was in awe of everything there. We will definately go back next year and make it a holiday tradition.

Turkey Day

We went to RoRo's house for Thanksgiving this year and the kids had a blast with their cousins. They played so hard all day then slept for about 14 hours straight!
Ellie loves to "play" the piano
Both kids really got into the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. Ellie loved seeing all the characters and dancing to the bands, but nothing got the reaction like Santa and his reindeer at the end of the parade. She went nuts-jumping up and down and calling everyone to come see Santa. Jack couldnt help but get excited too.
Jack ate two huge helpings of Thanksgiving. He loved broccoli cheese rice and dressing the best. He also had his first corn on the cob and loved it.
Who me? Make a mess?

Elmo Jack and Cinderella

Here is Jack wearing his Elmo costume, which only stayed on for a brief time. I knew he wouldnt like the head piece on, but hopefully he will be more into Halloween next year. He went to bed at 6:30 and missed all the treat or treating fun!
Ellie-ready to head out. She doesnt really eat candy, but she loved ringing doorbells and talking to everyone.

My sweet Cinderella

The Pre-K girls paraded in their costumes for all the parents then had their Halloween party. It was so cute to see all the girls dressed up. There were lots of princesses in the room!

Zoo Day

Emily and Hudson were here back in October and we hit the zoo since the weather was so nice. The kids always love seeing all the animals and ride the train.
