Christmas Morning

Here are some pictures from Christmas morning. Ellie came down to see her kitchen, Dora house and stroller. She loved them all and didnt want to open any more presents. She has never been into opening presents so we still have alot of presents still wrapped. I guess I will save them for her birthday in April. Its weird but she just wanted to play in her kitchen and didnt seem to care what else was under the tree.

She did like her guitar. She found it before I got it wrapped so she had gotten it before Christmas and got it back out.

My Little Snowmen

Here are Ellie and Jack in their snowmen pj's while we were waiting for Emily, Adam, Hudson and Mimi to come over to eat and open presents. Ellie still loves any opportunity to hold her "pumpkin pie."

Christmas Weekend

Emily, Adam and Hudson came to town on Friday to spend Christmas early. It was so fun (and crazy) with all the kids being together! Hudson and Jack got to play and do a little fighting over toys. The first of many I am sure. We had a great time though.

Christmas Parties

Friday was the last day of school before Christmas for the kids and each of them had parties in their rooms then everyone got to go to the big playroom to sing Christmas carols with Mrs. Claus.

Before school in their matching Christmas outfits.
"Mommy, see Elmo?" I have all of Ellie's ornaments down low on the tree so she can see (and play) with them. She will stand there and look at all of them-she just loves the tree. She has Dora and Boots, Cinderella, Elmo, Princess and a Big Pink Poodle as ornaments on the tree to play with.

Teacher Presents

While I was home with Jack last week after his surgery, I baked pecan strussel cake for Ellie and Jack's teachers. It felt so weird to be home in the middle of the day but it was so nice to have a chance to bake and be home with Jack. I actually felt like a stay at home mom there for a minute!

Tubes

Such a happy boy...this was right after his surgery.

Jack got tubes in his ears on Monday. He did great and hopefully this will keep his ears clear. His left ear was completely full of fluid, which is what they thought after seeing him in the doctors office before the surgery. The right ear was starting to fill up too. So this should give him alot of relief since the pressure of that fluid filled in his ears is so painful. So we are happy everything went well.

Jack on the Box!

How adorable is this little boy?! He is such a cutie pie and just makes me smile. My mom kept both kids Saturday night and this was Jack getting into all of my mom's Christmas stuff when I was dropping them off. She had these boxes that he loved to crawl all over.

Bath time at Mimi's...
This picture cracks me up. Ellie looks bored to death. But of course, as you can see below...Jack is loving it.

Day at the Zoo

As if seeing Santa last Saturday wasnt enough, after that I took Ellie to the zoo. Jack was with my mom so it was just the two of us and we had so much fun. Ellie is so animated and there is no where else she would rather be than the zoo. She loves animals and we are so lucky to have such a great zoo here. This new exhibit with the polar bears really is amazing. You can get so close and they just swim up at the glass.
I pretty much pushed around an empty stroller because she wanted to be strolled in then when she saw the first animal she wanted out and ran the entire way through the zoo.

Breakfast with Santa

Last weekend our neighborhood had Breakfast with Santa. Ellie had the best time and wasnt scared of Santa at all. Each child got called up individually and Santa had a present for them and Ellie got a Dora DVD, which she loved. She keeps saying "Santa brings Dora presents." She is really into Santa now after seeing him.
