Happy 9 months!

I just cant believe our Jack is already 9 months old! It seems like just the other day that I had him and he looked like this picture. He always looks so comfortable sleeping and gets into the cutest positions.He truly has been the most precious baby. Except for his sleeping that got off track for a couple of months because of teeth (he got 6 in a row so fast!) and being sick, he really is the best baby I could have hoped for. He now sleeps 7:00 to 6:00-6:30. He loves to eat more than anything in the world and he hasnt met alot of things he wont eat. Actually the only thing is green beans. However he loves carrots and peas and has just started eating steamed broccoli. His favorite food is spaghetti and he can shovel it in. I think I have posted pictures before of him with it. He also loves the Gerber chicken sticks and ravioli, blueberry waffles, nutrigrain pancakes, bananas, pears, mandarin oranges, oh the list goes on and on... So different from Ellie's short list of foods. Speaking of Ellie, she truly is the light of his life. It is so precious to see them together. He is her little "pumpkin pie" and she is the best big sister. They love to be with each other and if he isnt around, she is always looking for him. Her nicknames for him are pumpin pie and jackaroni. It really has been the best feeling seeing how close they are.

Jack started crawling at 7 months has has been pulling up on everything since then. He loves to be standing so I think he will walk before Ellie did (14 months) but I am not sure when. I cant wait for warmer weather when we can get the kids outside to play and use his push toys. I know he will be one year old soon and starting kindergarten before I know it, but for now he is just our sweet, precious pumpkin pie.

More sickness...

Its a good thing that we are members of Costco because we are going to need the biggest can of Lysol there is. After a couple of weeks of not feeling good, I found out yesterday that I have pneumonia. I cant go to work the rest of the week and hopefully I will get to feeling better soon. I just pray that Jack and Ellie (and Blake) can stay well. I will have taken 12 sick days from work since Jan 1 so hopefully I wont have to take anymore for a while! Luckily I have a very understanding boss.
Mom took care of the kids this weekend and got them to school today and I know she will be glad to come home to an empty house tonight and rest! Thank you so much for all of your help Mom-I dont know what we would do without you. I love you!

Cinderella

After a long week at home sick with the kids, mom and aunt Nancy came and got the kids Saturday morning for the night at Mimi's house. They all had a great time and Blake and I enjoyed dinner at Fleming's and a night with no kids to put to bed and no early wake up time. Nancy got Ellie this adorable yet kind of bizarre stuffed Cinderella at the Disney store. Ellie is really in a Cinderella stage so she thinks it is the greatest thing ever. As usual, she has slept with her new doll and taken her everywhere.

Hanging around the house

So I am still at home with Jack, who is doing alot better but still has an awful cough. Ellie was home today too and we will all stay home tomorrow (Friday) for one more day of rest. It was rainy this morning so we just hung out and Ellie watched her shows and Jack watched Ellie. He is obsessed with her and she told me to "Mommy, I love Jack." So its good to know the feeling is mutual.

Jack seems to be feeling alot better. Here he is tonight after his dinner of spaghetti and meat sauce. He is starting to eat all kinds of stuff so I let him try what we were having for dinner tonight. He really liked it but got a little messy!

Giraffes

The kids finally got a chance to wear their matching giraffe outfits I made them. Thanks to mom for finally putting on the snaps to Jack's outfit.

Sick House

We have a sick house right now. I havent had any new pictures to put up because we have all been sick and not doing anything worth taking pics of. I came down with strep throat over the weekend after being off with Jack on Friday who turned out to have RSV and now Ellie has a runny nose and cough. They both take turns coughing after we put them to bed and Blake and I trying to figure out which one is which cough. I guess its just that time of year...it was 70 yesterday then 35 this morning so I guess we shouldnt be surprised. Anyway, hopefully we will be all feeling better by the weekend!
