We had our friends, Chris and Ashley over on Saturday after taking the kids to the splash park. We came back to our house to let the kids on the water slide and to splash. We grilled hamburgers for lunch and everyone had a great time. Ellie loved having her buddy, Keegan over to play.

Day at the Zoo!
What a hot day to be at the zoo! It was worth it though because the kids had a great time.

SPLASH!
With the hot weather we have been trying to stay cool! Jack got this awesome splash pad from his friend, McKenzie, for his birthday and we decided to try it out. Its great and definately kept the kids cool!
Bath/Dinner Time
Has anyone ever heard of a boy eating his dinner while taking a bath in the kitchen sink? Well here is one! He got so dirty playing outside before dinner that he needed a bath before he ate and I was cooking dinner, so I put him in the sink to bathe him. Then, I realized he was going to get dirty again eating so I gave him his dinner while he was still in the bath. What a mess!

Pumpkin and Pumpkin Pie
I took these pictures the other morning right before we left for school. They were cuddling watching some show (imagine that) and I decided to grab my camera. It really continues to amaze me how well they do together and they both love to be together. Jack's teacher tells me that she is always calling for him when they are all out on the playground together. Their play areas are separated by a wrought iron fence and she says Ellie is always trying to grab him and give him a hug through the fence.
Jack spent the night at Mom's last Saturday night, while we took Ellie to Keegan's birthday party. Ellie was so concerned about him the whole time he was gone. She kept asking if he was still sleeping. She doesnt like to be away from him. So sweet...
Splash Day
Tuesday afternoon I picked the kids up early from school and we went to our nieghbors house for an afternoon in the sprinkler. The kids loved it and it really got me ready for summer. They are going to love going to the pool and splash park!
